Universal Adaptor Bar System

Baseplate

Description:

The Universal Plate is designed for the new generation large sensor video cameras such as the Canon EOS C300 Canon EOS C100, Sony FS700, Sony FS7 and Panasonic AF100.

The Universal Plate comes with 215mm (8.6") rods and 200mm (8") extension rods as standard and allows mounting accessories on the front and back side of the plate. It mounts to the camera with 2x1/4", a 3/8" camera screws and a pin to suit wide range of cameras. The camera is fixed onto the rods on all four corners to ensure stability.

With adjustable rods height and horizontal movement of the top plate, you can easily align the camera and other accessories, like matte boxes and follow focus systems. The top plate can also slide off, making camera fixing easy and acts as a quick release plate and slide on the horizontal plane for fine balance adjustment. Two ends stops are supplied to ensure the top plate is held in position. Non-slip rubber strips on the back plate help prevent wobbling of the camera and scratches to the camera body.

It is manufactured from aviation grade aluminium that makes the rig both strong and lightweight.

Tilta Baseplate

System

Easily mount your camera onto a tripod via the Sony VCT-U14 Tripod Adapter using the Tilta 15mm Quick-Release Baseplate. The V-lock system on the underside of the baseplate locks firmly onto the Sony VCT-U14, which can then be mounted onto a tripod’s wedge plate. Alternatively, the baseplate’s quick-release mechanism allows you to easily detach it from the VCT-U14 and switch to a shoulder mount/handheld configuration.

You can make front and back adjustments thanks to the adjustable shoulder pad which is padded to give you comfort while carrying your camera on long shoots. In addition, since the shoulder pad is located at the center of the underside of the baseplate, it allows for optimum balancing for the safety of your camera system.

The baseplate comes with 8” rods to mount accessories like a follow focus or EVF. Additionally, the height-adjustable 15mm rods adapter allows you to adjust the height of the 15mm rods for appropriate placement of accessories.
